The reason is simple: Celebs, including Michael, have facial imperfections that we overlook in person but notice in photographs. Changing the shade of the skin and minimizing wrinkles are so basic, so essential and so universal, it's hardly fair to complain about them. Annika is right, every “friendly” photo of a celeb that you see is airbrushed / photoshopped / retouched. The reason is simple: Celebs, including Michael, have facial imperfections that we overlook in person but notice in photographs.
