Guns in movies making crime worse
Written by mascoteer.com staffYou’ve seen all the recent Hollywood films, guns everywhere, bang bang bang all over the place, actors falling to the floor in mock death. Teenagers from rough areas copy what they see in the movies, they have no intellect to disseminate good from bad, and what do we get, the impression that guns are cool, that top Hollywood stars pack a gun and that’s what I should do.
Hollywood has to get real over the guns and violence issue. They are directly responsible, along with the prohibition laws, for the increase in gun and knife violence by making it cool to use lethal weapons. It is ridiculous to have laws prohibiting pornography in movies and on the reverse side allowing gun toting youngsters to view hollywood epics showing extreme and barbarous violence, Scorcese is one prime culprit, as a reason to belong to violent gangs.
